Hockey Canada has announced changes for the 2020-2021 season for the Atom (U11), Minor Atom (U10), and Novice (U9) age groups. These changes outline new regulations on how hockey programs will be delivered at these age groups. 

The Halton Hurricanes traveled down the QEW for the weekend to Fort Erie, taking part in the 18 team AAA Novice Cup Tournament. This event featured 4 divisions of 4-5 teams in each, with the top 2 teams in each division advancing to the playoffs on Sunday.

After a gap in their schedule, the Novice AAA Halton Hurricanes returned to the ice on Wednesday, traveling to Hamilton to close out their full-ice regular season against the host Bulldogs. With a win, the Hurricanes would move past Burlington and into 3rd place behind 2nd place Niagara and 1st place Southern Tier.

The Halton Hurricanes and Oakville Rangers played an exhibition game on Sunday afternoon at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph. Halton was able to edge out a win (4-3) as Evan Meehan scored with over 30 seconds to go to give the 'Canes the win.
