Canes muzzle 45's in playoff opener
The Halton Hurricanes got their playoffs off on the right foot, with a 9-4 home win over the Brampton 45's Sunday night in Acton.
Owen John got the W in net, while Callan Cabral (2), Cal Reilly (2), James Del Duca (2), Preston Sedlezky, Anthony Terkalas, and Tyler Hickey tallied goals.
The 'Canes found themselves up 3-0 after 1, and scored 5 in the 2nd to take an 8-2 lead before Brampton scored twice in the 3rd making the final 9-4.

Cal Reilly had a huge 4 point game with 2 goals & 2 assists.
Callan Cabral potted 2 himself, and added an assist for 3 points.
James Del Duca scored 2 more and added an assist for a 3 point night.
Tyler Hickey returned after missing the last 6 games with an injury and added 1 goal & 2 assists.
Anthony Terkalas scored with a cannon from the point on the PP, and added an assist.
Preston Sedlezky scored a beauty on a 2-1 with Reilly, and added an assist himself.
Hayden "Big Rig" Cochren had 2 assists.

The club will practice this week before the playoffs continue with a home contest against the Niagara North Stars Sunday @ Sherwood. Game time is 1:30pm.
