The Halton Hurricanes Novice AAA team finished the round robin with a perfect 4-0 record with wins over Central Ontario (2-1), Barrie (9-2), Hamilton Huskies (2-1) and the Hamilton Bulldogs (6-1).
They then eliminated the Oakville Rangers in quarterfinal action (4-1) before dropping a tightly contested game by a 2-1 score to strong Lambeth Lancers team in the semi-final.
